TLG 2027 Case Study Submission Deadline Extended to October 30, 2026
The Alliance for Innovation (AFI) is pleased to announce that the deadline for submitting case studies for the 2027 Transforming Local Government (TLG) Conference has been extended to Friday, October 30, 2026. We sincerely thank the organizations that have already submitted their case studies and demonstrated their commitment to sharing innovative practices with the local government community. In response to requests from several Alliance members for additional time to prepare their submissions, we are extending the deadline to provide more organizations with the opportunity to showcase their work.
More Time to Share Your Innovation Story at TLG 2027 in Kansas City!
TLG 2027: Crossroads to the Future will take place April 25–28, 2027, in Kansas City, Missouri, bringing together forward-thinking local government professionals, thought leaders, and innovators to explore emerging challenges, share practical solutions, and advance the future of local government.
Share Your Story of Innovation
The TLG Conference has long been a platform for highlighting innovative programs, creative problem-solving, and transformational approaches that are making a difference in communities across the country. We encourage local governments of all sizes to submit case studies that demonstrate how their organizations are rethinking traditional approaches, addressing complex challenges, improving service delivery, strengthening organizational performance, or preparing for the future.
We also welcome submissions from nonprofit organizations, academic institutions, and private-sector partners that are collaborating with local governments to develop and implement innovative solutions. These submissions should include a local government partner who will participate in presenting the case study at the conference.
Whether your initiative is a new approach to a longstanding challenge or a transformational program that is changing how government operates, TLG provides an opportunity to share lessons learned, demonstrate results, and inspire others.
Special Registration Rate for Selected Presenters
As a benefit of sharing their experiences with the TLG community, selected local government presenters will receive a special conference registration rate of $600 to attend TLG 2027. This discounted rate recognizes the contributions of practitioners who help make TLG a valuable learning experience by sharing real-world innovations, successes, challenges, and lessons learned with their peers.
