Membership is organized into four regions, East, Midwest, West, and Texas, with an AFI staff member assigned to each region.

Regional assignments are as follows:

- Hauson Le, West
- Michael Wilkes and Tracy Miller , Texas

Members receive a quarterly check-in to help us build engagement with your organization. AFI aspires to be the hub of innovation for local government, and we can only fulfill that role when we understand what our members are experiencing.

Our staff brings decades of combined experience inside cities, counties and professional associations across the country.

Because we have served in the roles our members hold today, we understand both the opportunities and the pressures facing local government leaders and we design our programs with that reality in mind.
