Listening Tour

As an organization that has served local governments for nearly 50 years, the Alliance for Innovation is conducting a Listening Tour in 2026 to better understand and strengthen the Alliance’s value proposition for the next 50 years.
Throughout our history, the Alliance has maintained a strong reputation for filling important niches within the local government marketplace. Our services have focused on networking opportunities, knowledge and content development, on-site and virtual services, and professional events. These activities support members in becoming future-ready organizations by expanding their understanding, aptitude, and expertise related to emerging trends and practices in the public sector.

The Listening Tour Will Focus on Two Core Questions
1. Why do you value being a member of the Alliance for Innovation?
2. What could the Alliance do to increase the value of your membership?
The insights gathered through these conversations will be synthesized to inform improvements in the Alliance’s programs, services, and member offerings in 2027.
This process will provide the information necessary to refine the Alliance’s value proposition and ensure that services continue to align with the evolving needs of local government.
While the 2026 Listening Tour represents a focused effort to gather member feedback, the Alliance remains committed to making evaluation, feedback, and continuous improvement an ongoing part of our service delivery and organizational culture.
