Alliance for Innovation Announces New Member Benefits

The Alliance for Innovation is excited to share our updated 2026 Member Benefits Package that is designed to help local governments strengthen innovation capacity across your entire organization and support leaders navigate change with confidence.

Local governments are operating in an era defined by complexity, rapid change, and rising expectations from the communities theyserve. Building the innovation capacity to navigate change is no longer optional, it is essential.

The Alliance for Innovation is excited to share our updated 2026 Member Benefits Package that is designed to help local governmentsstrengthen innovation capacity across your entire organization and support leaders navigate change with confidence.

Alliance membership is more than access to resources, we provide a platform for comparative research, organizational learning, peerconnection, strategic foresight, and implementation support. Benefits include organization-wide access for all staff, dedicated member liaisons, custom comparative research studies with rapid turnaround, strategic foresight workshops and certification opportunities, cooperative purchasing support, premium innovation services, and expanded networking and learning events throughout the year.

We’re also preparing to launch a new website at TransformGov.org in conjunction with the Transforming Local Government (TLG) Conference. The new site will feature updated content throughout the site aswell as information for how to maximize the services available to our members.

Coming in the Summer of 2026 is the Alliance Member Circle, our online community designed to connect members with one another and the knowledge they need to lead change. The Circle will include a growing knowledge repository of research studies, trend reports, case study examples, andpresentations, peer networking opportunities, and on-demand, member-only learning resources to support innovation capacity building across your organization.

These enhancements reflect what we continue to hear from members across the country: local governments need practical tools, a trusted network of their peers, and forward-looking strategies to lead through complexity and deliver results for their communities.  Together, these investments reflect a clear strategic direction that is helping localgovernments build the internal capacity required to lead through uncertaintyand shape the future, not just react to it.

We’re also looking ahead to the Transforming LocalGovernment (TLG) Conference, taking place April 20–22 in Dallas, Texas, where public sector innovators from across the nation will gather to explore big ideas, cross-sector partnerships, and actionable strategies shaping the future of local government. TLG remains one of the Alliance’s signature opportunities to connect vision with practice while bringing together practitioners, and partners committed to strengthening innovation capacity where it matters most.

If your organization is ready to build capacity for what’s next, we invite you to learn more and join us.
