TLG27 | Crossroads to the Future

Where Innovation, Leadership and Community Converge

April 25-28, 2027 | Kansas City, MO

As the Alliance for Innovation celebrates the 33rd Annual Transforming Local Government Conference, we gather in Kansas City where our local government hosts stand at the crossroads of innovation, leadership and community impact.

Inspired by Kansas City's historic role at the intersection of commerce, culture, and connection, TLG 2027: Crossroads to the Future serves as the gathering place for local government leaders to come together and explore emerging challenges, discover new opportunities, and shape the future of their communities.

Today's leaders face a rapidly changing environment affected by artificial intelligence, workforce transformation, evolving community expectations, and increasing complexity. Success requires more than managing change but anticipating it, adapting to it, and leading through it.

The Alliance for Innovation has helped local governments build innovation capacity and prepare for the future throughout our history. TLG 2027 continues that mission by bringing together innovators, practitioners, and thought leaders to share ideas, learn from one another, and explore strategies that create stronger organizations and thriving communities.

Kansas City provides the perfect backdrop for this milestone event. As a city built at the crossroads of innovation and connection, it reflects the choices local governments face today: whether to react to the future or help create it.

Join us as we celebrate transforming local government and explore how innovation, leadership, and community can converge to shape what comes next.
