Member Meet Up: Practitioner Consultancy

Member Meetups are designed to help members learn from one another by connecting around shared interests, real challenges, and practical experience. Each meetup creates space for peers to exchange what they are working on, what is proving effective, and what they are learning along the way. The goal is to strengthen relationships across the network while accelerating learning through shared practice. Bring your colleagues and connect with other local governments across the nation.

Practitioner Consultancy sessions give members the chance to bring a current challenge or project and receive structured feedback from peers. In small groups, participants describe what they are working on, listen to outside perspectives, and leave with new ideas they can apply right away. This format is ideal when you want focused input from people who understand the realities of local government.

The August Member Meet Up format will feature a deep dive conversation on specific challenges participants bring to the table. Practitioner Consultancy sessions bring members together in small groups to workshop real, in-progress challenges with peers who understand the realities of loc /al government. One participant shares a current issue, and the group offers focused perspectives, questions, and ideas.
