Activate Your Alliance Membership

Your Alliance for Innovation membership is designed to connect you with the people, ideas, resources, and learning opportunities that can help your organization innovate and prepare for what’s next.

Join us for an interactive office hours type Live Room focused on Activating Your Membership.  This session is designed to help you make the most of your Alliance membership and the Member Circle.  Launched in June 2026, The Circle is our online community to support you with year-round connection, collaboration, and learning among our community of innovators.

Whether you are new to the Alliance, new to a member organization, or simply want to become more engaged, this Live Room session provides you with access to make the most of your membership for you and your organization and provide input on what is happening in your organization with your peers.

You set the agenda.  During the session you will:

• Connect with your peers on current issues in your government
• Learn about opportunities to tell your story by getting featured in the Innovator's Edge monthly newsletter, joining a webinar panel or speaking at the annual TLG conference.
• Engaging on the Alliance Member Circle through Member Connect, events, discussions, and networking opportunities.
• Accessing content through the Knowledge Library, Learning Path, webinars, research, strategic foresight resources, and innovation tools.
• Engaging in Member Circle discussions focused on Strategic Foresight, Performance Excellence, Leadership, Technology, and emerging local government challenges.
• Leveraging your membership to find ideas, ask questions, share experiences, and bring new approaches back to your organization.
• Discovering what’s ahead across the Alliance network and identify opportunities to become more involved.

The Alliance has always been about bringing local government innovators together. The Member Circle expands that experience by creating a trusted space where those connections and conversations can happen every day, not just at conferences or events.

Who should attend?

New Alliance members, new employees within member organizations, department leaders, innovation champions, and any member who wants to get more value from their Alliance membership.
