As part of membership benefits, the Alliance staff provide research services for member-submitted requests.

As part of your membership benefits, the Alliance staff provide research services for local government member submitted requests. The process is simple, just fill out and submit the form below. After we have received your request, a follow-up email from Alliance staff will confirm time for completion and any other request details. Program Description:

  • Submission deadlines are determined by scope of requests, though we typically strive for 1 to 2 weeks.
  • Research conducted mainly by our 3 to 4 Graduate Assistants through the Marvins Andrews Fellowship
  • Request Constraints:
    • Consider the scope; requests should be specific and be able to be completed within 4 to 10 hours
      • Alliance staff will review more extensive requests, and determine a more appropriate date of completion
    • In the realm of accepted leading and emerging practices

To help connect with other members dealing with the same issues and questions, we do intend to share the fullfilled requests, though no idenifying information will be shared beyond the state where your organization is located.
