People feel vulnerable because they're not experts at building stories, but the tools make that participants feel safe. What's funny, is that when people are sharing their work and telling their story, they stare at their creation and they don't worry about how others are looking at them. It's more real because it's inanimate. Hard to describe here, but it's really very useful.
