Sounds like fun. My first suggestion would be to find an in-house, no cost facilitator. We always use our university extension community development agent who does facilitation on a regular basis. This takes the pressure off you, giving you time to think and help make sure supervisor questions are properly addressed. We do an annual budget planning retreat, I will send you some of those agendas for ideas. One other suggestion would be to schedule multiple presenters, utilize your county staff to discuss and present various topics, then allow time at the end for review / discussion / etc.We also vote on specific topics that need deciding. Some times the topics can be broad but the voting provides / confirms directions. Hope this helps.
