Municipal Waste Management Plan Development Guideline - Georgia

Jan 1, 2015

Municipal waste management has been a problem in Georgia for many years, both in terms of insufficient quality and coverage of waste related services, and in the consequential adverse impacts on human health and the environment. By definition, a municipal waste management plan is a document or development framework established by a municipality to define the manner by which they will fulfill their waste management responsibilities.

This document was created under the Waste Management Technologies in Regions (WMTR) program that is funded by the U.S. Agency for International Development through a four-year cooperative agreement under the CityLinks™ Leader with Associates program.
