Continuous Leadership Development

The City of El Paso wanted to be sure to continue offering training and development to its staff during the troubling economic times of the Great Recession.  It offered tuition assistance, training for supervisors, leadership and management training, and more.  Since 2006 over 800 employees have made use of one of the professional development opportunities the City offers.

This case study was nominated for ICMA's Annual Awards Program.
