Connecting with your profile
If you haven't already begun exploring the Alliance for Innovation's NEW Knowledge Network, today is a great day to start!
The Network is an exciting online information sharing system that is a result of our partnership with ICMA and the School of Public Affairs at Arizona State University (ASU) and is made possible by dedicated Alliance and ICMA Members. Our goal is to bring local government professionals, subject matter experts, academics, and others together in a content rich, social networking environment to share and discuss leading practices within local governance.
CREATING YOUR PROFILE
The Alliance is shining its spotlight on “My Profile” – a functionality of the new Knowledge Network. Metaphorically speaking, whether you are considering sticking your toe in the water or have already performed a few cannon balls, we are encouraging you to take a second to create and personalize your profile on the Knowledge Network. You can upload a profile picture, provide a brief bio of yourself, and include work and educational history. Remember to have fun with your profile—it’s through your personalization on this social media platform that you begin creating connections with colleagues and content.
- Go to www.transformgov.org and explore the Alliance’s new website
- Log-in to the new Knowledge Network by 1) using current email address and old Alliance Knowledge Center Password, or 2) create a new account if you did not have an old Alliance password.
- Go to your profile and begin sharing!
Once you’ve created your profile, we invited you to play around the various areas of the Knowledge Network. Come join our online community of practice where thousands of talented local government professionals have already registered and are connecting with their colleagues all over the country.
