The Township seeks a summer graduate public policy & finance fellow with outstanding data analytics skills and an interest in local government to develop a depreciation plan for the Public Works Department’s capital equipment. Reporting directly to the Township’s Finance Director, the fellow shall take a provided scope of work and semi-independently create the document.
The graduate student will gain a practical understanding of how financial planning and analytics merge together with local governmental considerations in the administration of Township operations. They will be part of the first step in developing a long-term policy and financial plan that will benefit the Township’s residents and business owners over the next few decades. The fellowship is available for up to 10 weeks (375 work hours) at a rate of $15 per hour and designed to fulfill the internship requirement for a two-year master's degree in public affairs.
