Think Forward: The New Employee Relations Model

The City of Las Vegas created a “Think Forward: The New Employee Relations Model” to reorganize and implement new ways working together to provide services while staying within budgetary limits. The city not only engaged employees in the process, but has encouraged public participation as well. Main saving components of the model included project and service review, salary restructure, benefit restructure, and force reductions.
